​With the addition of the SureSight video laryngoscope, you can take advantage of our integrated platform with all the familiar Ambu tools you are already using to establish and maintain the airway with confidence.  

The aView 2 Advance and aBox 2* endoscopy systems serve as the control center for SureSight and other key Ambu airway visualization devices.

The platform includes:

  • aScope 4 Broncho, the world’s most trusted single-use bronchoscopy system
  • VivaSight 2 DLT and SLT**, our one-lung ventilation solutions with integrated camera
  • aScope 5 Broncho for advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across the OR, ICU and bronchoscopy suite
  • aScope 4 RhinoLaryngo a rhinolaryngoscope solution that provides the excellent imaging needed to perform a full examination of the upper airway

The anaesthetist’s time was dominated by three primary tasks: Patient maintenance, documenting electronic medical records and visual display tasks. The mean time between task switches was 6.39 seconds.

58 potential patient-safety hazards identified

Although this study was based in the cardiovascular OR, the hazards discussed should be recognisable to anaesthetists from a variety of procedures. The study observed the handoff practices from the OR to post-anaesthesia/ICU.
